Be good to yourself and NEVER try salvia - its not worth it! I ignored the warnings and tried it anyway. That was the worst thing I ever did to myself. That was the first and last time I did that! NEVER AGAIN! The experience was terrifying and put me in the hospital. I lost all sense of reality and the vivid hallucinations were overwhelming. My heart was beating so hard and violently that I thought I was going into cardiac arrest. The pounding of my heart pulsated with the beat of flashing neon lights that were inside bright orange tubes that were coming out of my head like tentacles and then wrapped themselves around me and began to roll me forward then upside down and spin me forward like I was a ball on a roller coaster. As I was flipping and spinning the room's pulsating beat got louder and louder in sync with my pounding heart beat. I had lost all control of my thoughts, body, and mind at that point. By then my chest felt like it was expanding and puffing out in front of my body and was going pop. I was in a severe state of panic and thinking I was having a heart attack. I ended up being taken to the hospital by ambulance, at which time they discovered my blood pressure to be dangerously high. DON'T USE THIS STUFF PEOPLE, ITS NOT WORTH ENDANGERING YOUR BODY AND YOUR SANITY!!

Full on psychedelic experiences can be difficult ones(especially Salvia) and some people can't handle them. Many people use Salvia and have profound and enlightening experiences. It's a very powerful experience and should be approached with respect and caution. Perhaps if you had smoked a smaller dosage you would have had a better experience? Salvia is not for recreation. It's a tool for discovery...

I only had 2 hits and thats what happened. It was the most terrifying experience of my life. This stuff should be banned. I hope they make it illegal fast.

I, too, have had experiences when I felt my heart rate getting dangerously high, that's when I discovered the importance of mediation. Keeping your body relaxed and surrounded by relaxing things makes all the difference and you will be able to keep your heart rate down. It's also a control of thoughts - do not give into astonishment and do not become afraid or your heart rate might go up. I would never smoke salvia without at least 20 minutes of pre-meditation to get my body at a low, relaxing, flowing vibration as apposed to an excited, hyper-aggravated trip.

Okay so i'm hanging out with some friends tonight. They're gonna have weed and salvia. It's everyone first time smoking the salvia. My second time smoking weed i had like a bad reaction or something. I was stoned. I had to go to the hospital. I saw like brain cells. I think there was salvia in the weed i smoked. I don't know if i shoukd smoke the salvia. What' it like?

Many people use salvia besides you and they are perfectly fine, dont try to get rid of something that other people want just because you had a bad experience, let others enjoy it, if you dont want to again, then dont

im not sure i beleive this happend with 5x out of a glass pipe, my first time was 10x from a bong and i still had no hallucinations or problems
