The colours at the edge of my vision start to swirl and then rush towards me as I’m thrown left, backwards and under. All memory of who I am or what anything is disappears immediately. My conscious is no longer in this four dimensional universe but in a terrifyingly strange universe of zero dimensions, just colours and a loud screeching static sound. The first feeling is a feeling of remembering, like waking up from a dream. This is quickly replaced by a sickening fear that I am going to be lost forever as I’m being taken over by some more powerful energy force. Imagine the feeling of being constantly halfway through a back flip or forever being at the point of the escalator just as it’s got to the bottom, disappeared and flipped over. I attempt to move but everything moves as I am everything. Yellow, red, grey, white and green. All I have to offer is resistance as I battle against being lost to an eternal hell. Slowly I seem to start overcoming the opposing force and the centre of my vision returns and slowly grows until I can see all infront of me. Somebody enters the room from behind me and the concept of direction blows my mind. I'm being asked to describe the experience but I can't thionk of even one word, im speachless. The next half an hour is spent piecing together who I am but myself, my friends, my job, my life, it all seems so unimportant and ridiculous... This was about 6 months ago and the experience has stayed with me. The worst moment of which was when doing psilocybin truffles in amsterdam, after 4 hours of experiencing oneness, I had a hour or so of questioning reality, remembering my salvia trip and being quite scared that it was real and reality wasn't.
